The Spanish digital health company expands its presence to Sicily and Campania through partnerships with MedTec and DBMed/CM Medical Devices.
Already operating with 10 distributors worldwide in strategic markets such as Central America, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
Zerintia HealthTech is strengthening its international reach with expansion into Italy. The Spanish digital health company has signed collaboration agreements with two prominent Italian clinical–healthcare distributors: MedTec in the Sicily region, and DBMed/CM Medical Devices in the Campania region. Both companies will distribute 4RemoteHealth—the software platform developed by Zerintia HealthTech that enables remote interaction between healthcare professionals and patients in critical clinical settings such as ICUs, operating rooms, and ambulances.
MedTec—specialized in importing and distributing medical devices—will be Zerintia HealthTech’s partner in Sicily. Founded in 2011 as a spin-off from the Kronos Group, MedTec boasts over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector and currently supplies technological solutions and medical devices to 46 public hospitals, 52 private clinics, and 39 residential care facilities (RSA) across Italy. Its areas of expertise include anesthesia and resuscitation, intensive care, dialysis, oncology, interventional cardiology, surgical blocks, and infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, Zerintia HealthTech has partnered with DBMed and CM Medical Devices, leading providers of medical training and technological solutions for healthcare professionals in Campania, combining hands‑on learning, advanced simulation, and digital education.
The SaaS platform created by the Spanish company connects existing clinical devices and shares audio, image, and video—enhanced with augmented reality and data capture—to facilitate real-time interaction, critical decision‑making, and knowledge dissemination.
4RemoteHealth integrates all operating‑room devices—such as laparoscopic systems, surgical cameras, and patient monitoring—and enables the recording of interactive sessions for later review or broadcast.
Zerintia HealthTech will present these new agreements at SMART Meeting Milan, a premier health and technology event held in Milan from May 7–9, 2025. With over 3,500 annual attendees, SMART Meeting Anesthesia Resuscitation Intensive Care is one of the most important gatherings in healthcare and technology, featuring a top‑tier scientific program alongside a diverse technical exhibition of the latest medical equipment.
International Expansion
These agreements in Sicily and Campania are part of Zerintia HealthTech’s international expansion plan. “These alliances reinforce our commitment to integrating advanced technology into medical practice, allowing us to bring our digital solutions to key new markets alongside partners with deep local expertise and strong healthcare‑sector knowledge,” says Joaquín Fernández de Piérola, President of Zerintia HealthTech.
The distribution agreements with MedTec and DBMed complement recent partnerships signed by Zerintia HealthTech with Promed, Erbe, Emitac, and El Ajou, enabling the company to establish a presence in strategic markets such as Central America, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Today, the Spanish digital health company works with 10 distributors of 4RemoteHealth worldwide—a number it aims to double by year‑end.
This alliance will allow Zerintia HealthTech to integrate its eHealth and remote patient‑monitoring solutions into training programs that combine cutting‑edge technology with real clinical expertise, enhancing healthcare professionals’ training in the use of new digital tools.
