Zerintia HealthTech takes another step in its international expansion strategy by participating in the Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES), taking place March 18–22, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea.
The Spanish digital health company is one of 50 organizations selected to join the European business mission at one of Asia’s largest medical technology events. Zerintia HealthTech is participating through the “EU Business Hub @ KIMES 2026” program, which promotes the internationalization of healthcare companies.
Dedicated space in the European Union Pavillon
Zerintia HealthTech will have its own exhibition space within the European Union Pavilion, where it will showcase its 4RemoteHealth platform and conduct live demonstrations for companies and representatives from the South Korean healthcare sector. The company delegation is led by Carlos Rodríguez, Head of International Business Development, who will hold meetings with potential commercial partners during the event.
KIMES features a highly diverse range of participants, from medical device manufacturers and international distributors to hospitals and startups. The event will host more than 1,350 exhibiting companies and is expected to attract over 75,000 professionals from more than 103 countries. In addition, it will include more than 250 specialized conferences and seminars.
South Korea, a fast-growing market for medical technology
South Korea represents one of the most dynamic healthcare markets in Asia. The country is the fourth-largest economy on the continent and ranks eleventh worldwide in the medical device sector. In recent years, the South Korean government has strengthened its commitment to bio-health and healthcare digitalization, with particular emphasis on data-driven and artificial intelligence–based technologies, supported by growing investment in research and development.
The South Korean medical device market reached a value of $7.11 billion in 2024 and is estimated to have reached $7.57 billion in 2025, with projections placing it at $12.58 billion by 2032, according to Fortune Business Insights. These figures represent a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.5% over the analyzed period, confirming the sector’s strong momentum and expansion potential in the country.
Participation in international forums such as KIMES highlights Zerintia HealthTech’s commitment to developing technological solutions that contribute to a more connected, accessible, and efficient healthcare model on a global scale.
