- The company played a prominent role at the international technology startup event held alongside the Mobile World Congress each year.
Zerintia HealthTech was one of the key participants at the latest edition of 4 Years From Now (4YFN26), one of the world’s leading international events for technology startups, held annually alongside the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The event brings together startups, investors, and technology industry leaders from around the world to share ideas, showcase innovations, and explore collaboration opportunities.
Under the theme “Infinite AI,” this year’s 4YFN focused on artificial intelligence applied to different sectors, highlighting healthcare solutions and reinforcing its role as a place where innovations that will shape the future are discovered.
Zerintia HealthTech, with the support of the Ventanilla Única de Internacionalización of the Community of Madrid and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was present at the Spain Pavilion, organized by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and Red.es.
The company had its own stand where its team, Marketing Manager Inês Cruz and International Business Development Manager Carlos Rodríguez, presented the 4RemoteHealth platform.
During the technology demonstration sessions, the company’s president, Joaquín Fernández de Piérola, also explained how 4RemoteHealth enables physicians and specialists to collaborate in real time, sharing video, audio, and clinical data securely, even in the most complex environments. In this way, the platform facilitates coordination among healthcare professionals and makes specialized care accessible anywhere, regardless of distance.
Returning to Barcelona held special significance for Zerintia HealthTech. It was at the 2019 Mobile World Congress that the company successfully carried out the world’s first 5G assisted remote surgery, a milestone that marked the beginning of the development of 4RemoteHealth. Returning to this innovation ecosystem allowed the team to reflect on the progress made and reaffirm its commitment to bringing medicine to any place in the world.
Participation in 4YFN26 also allowed the Zerintia HealthTech team to share its experience and vision for remote medical collaboration with several national media outlets, including COPE, Europa Press y Disruptores, as well as international media such as Associated Press.
